How does the membership work?
Anyone can join the Monocle Order by signing up - there is no fee and it's a lifetime membership! By signing up you get access to regular discounts, sales, and party invites.
Do you guarantee that you will always have every style and brand in stock?
Unfortunately, we can't guarantee this as many of the brands we work with do limited runs of each style. If you place an order and we don’t have the item you chose, we will contact you and suggest alternatives or we can process a full refund.
How often do you bring on new brands?
We are constantly searching for new brands to add to our collection and we will let you know via our newsletter and social media when they arrive!
Are lenses refundable?
Unfortunately, as lenses are a custom good produced and fitted to a specific pair of frames at our eyelab, we cannot offer refunds on lenses, solely frames. Of course, this only holds true to prescription frames.
Are my glasses under warranty?
Some of the brands we work with do not offer warranties, while others do. Either way, we offer a repair service in which we help you send frames in need of repair directly to the manufacturer to get them fixed or replaced.
Do you have a showroom?
Yes! Our showroom is located at 5 Devoe Street, Basement, Brooklyn, NY 11211. We are open 11am - 7pm Monday to Friday and 12pm - 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
Do you sell prescription sunglasses?
Yes we do!
Do you offer eye exams on site?
Unfortunately, we are not equipped to give eye exams. However, if you have your prescription information ready with PD included that's all we need to get started on your lenses! We CAN measure your PD (Pupillary Distance) on site as many prescriptions neglect this important measurement.
Do you accept FSA Dollars on Prescription Purchases?
The Monocle Order now accepts FSA dollars for all prescription eyewear purchases, as long as your FSA or HSA (health savings account) card is affiliated with a major credit card! If you would like to use your FSA or HSA card to pay for a portion of your purchase and apply the remaining balance to a different card, please call us at 866.238.7963, Monday–Friday, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. We're happy to help you find the perfect pair easily and accessibly!
How does your shipping work?
Domestic (within the US)
- Shipping within the US is free, and are sent via USPS priority (3-5 business days)
- Returns are free - email us at email@example.com and we will generate a return slip which you can use for free shipping
- We offer different options through DHL and UPS with different delivery speeds. We dont offer free returns for international shipping but you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with questions and we will be happy to help.
